Mosaic design drops and more for London show!

Hello everyone,

Just a quick update..

The preparations for the handmade in Britain London : A Celebration event are gathering pace now - May 9th - May 13th at the gallery@Oxo

My feeling is that I must do everything I can possibly think of now, and then let the mosaics do the talking!

I'm happy with all the new pieces I have made, and some of my gallery pieces too.  The space is small so I've had to be selective - but I will have a slide show of all my other work rolling on the iPad so anyone who is interested can see what else I have to offer.

Doing something for the first time is always a challenge and a risk, but I'm looking forward to getting my work out there, and hoping I get my words in the right order when I talk to people!

We went to the RHS show in Cardiff last week.  There were craft stalls there, and I realised that even though I liked a lot of the skills and products on display, I wasn't going to buy from them that day.  I chatted to the artists, and took their cards so that I could have a think, and maybe come back to them via the web. So I might get some of that in London - and that's fine!  Good to prepared and try not to take it too personally!

Mosaic design drops
I have my new range of greetings cards out for the show, £2.50 each, or 5 for £10 - I think they will go down well.  Also above, see my new cool, funky London mosaic design drops - so versatile for the wall or the table - available now from my shop on Folksy.  Why not create your own wall/table art with them?  It's fun!

So, all is steaming ahead - bite size chunks and keep calm!

Thanks again for all your support,

Felicity

A film about my new mosaics

Hello,

I have made a film about my new mosaics, and would like to share it with you.  I don't think photos do my work justice sometimes, so I've filmed all my new work to try and give you more of a feel of what they are like in real life, as it were.

Many thanks for watching, and, if you like it, please share - all support gratefully received, as always.

Cheers

Felicity
